That experience drove me to explore integrating Next.js with Prisma ORM—a combination that transforms how we handle data in full-stack JavaScript. Let me share how this pairing can elevate your development workflow.

Prisma acts as a translator between your Next.js application and your database—whether PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. It generates TypeScript types directly from your database schema. This means your queries get validated during development, catching errors before runtime. For instance, defining a simple User model in your Prisma schema:

}

Running npx prisma generate creates a type-safe client. Now, when querying users in your Next.js API route, autocompletion and type checks guide you:
